This fall Detroit Symphony Orchestra will perform my trumpet concerto “Lucernaris” at three concerts (Oct. 31 – Nov. 2) and I am very much looking forward to go there. I hope that they will accept me running the electronics :) Actually I have done all performances so far except one in Switzerland. My hero and world champion trumpet player Håkan Hardenberger takes care of the trumpet part and James Gaffigan will conduct.

2014-15 DSO season to celebrate works first performed in the U.S.

Here is a photo from the premiere we did with my favourite orchestra that I once spend a four years long “composer in residency” with. I am talking about Gävle Symphony Orchestra. They did put a lot of trust in me allowed me to gain experience and confidence in what I did.
